About Reno County Museum

If you are interested in learning about Reno County history, Reno County Museum is the place you must visit! You will enjoy exhibits, events, educational programs and so much more! Located in Downtown Hutchinson at the corner of Avenue A and Walnut, a block east of Main Street, it collects, preserves, interprets and shares the history of Reno County, Kansas and the focus is to inspire awareness and appreciation of the past for the present and future generations. Kids will have a nice time at the museum’s Vaden Stroud Research Library and the Oodleplex, which is an imaginative and historical children’s play area!
