About City of Wichita – Parks and Recreation

The Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Wichita has a variety of camps for you and your kids to choose from. Each specialized on a different theme for children to keep learning and having fun, even after school is over. Or for those homeschooled kids, there is the Homeschooled Learning Hub, which provides a diverse range of fun educational activities throughout the year.

The Kids Konnection program welcomes kids on those in-service days with no school, so parents don´t need to stress. Children between 6 and 12 years old will have a day filled with activities like sports, games, and more!

There are also options for summer camps! The Specialty Camps invite kids from 6 to 13 years old to explore their imagination by choosing a camp of their interest. The Summer Activity Camp, a non-stop fun experience for kids, or the Summer of Discovery, filled with field trips, sports, games, contests, crafts, and much more!
