About Kauffman Museum

The Kauffman Museum showcases a collection that includes Mennonite immigrant furniture, recognized as an official “Save America’s Treasures” project. It also features a recreated tallgrass prairie that boasts over 15 grass species and more than 100 types of wildflowers. Visitors can explore the award-winning permanent exhibit “Land of the People,” a historic farmstead complete with heritage flower and vegetable gardens, and enjoy a variety of changing special exhibits that have received numerous awards for excellence. The museum offers educational programs suitable for the whole family, guided tours, innovative traveling exhibits, and much more, making it a rich educational and cultural experience for visitors of all ages.
There are many Kansas Museums that are worth the visit, and Kauffman Museum is a great example!
